There's loads of great Cloughie books out there. I've read pretty much everyone.

Mark Crossley has plenty of great Cloughie stories on YouTube.

One where he'd made a couple of first team starts and was talking in the changing room about going home to Barnsley after the game.

'9AM at my house tomorrow morning shithouse and it would help if you brought your boots and your gloves too.'

'Thanks for agreeing to play for our Simon's (Clough's elder son) Sunday team today as they haven't got a goalie and I thought you'd do'

'I won't call you shithouse because my wife Barbara's ere'

He went on to play, the team got fined £50 for playing a ringer and Cloughie took it out of big Norm's wages 😂

The blank contract is another classic.

Leeds bid knocked back but negotiations still ongoing. Wolves also interested is the latest from round the pool. Starting to think they may be on the wind up

I don think hes good enough (yet) to attract interest to match our value. He is the big difference to us in promotions chances, he wouldn't have the same impact for a team in the PL. So to us he may be worth 30m, to them he aint.
