Just been speaking to a Leeds supporting mate who says that ITK on their forum has been off his game this summer.

He said Sara had signed for them and then 12 hours later he’d signed for Galatasaray.

Hopefully there’s nothing in it. Hopefully.

The guy who is supposedly in the know has a history of been correct on our transfers. I suspect the board know this is a chance to partially redeem themselves after our fire sale.

I think it's nailed on he goes. Harte said as much earlier this year. Whether to us will be dependent on the size of the bid.

Harte was saying similar back end of last summer when there was interest.

Ian Harte isn't in charge of our transfers.

Clarke has two years left.

If you want him, of he wants to go, you'll be paying for it......

At the end of last season pretty much everyone was convinced Clarke would be away and although we’ve got to within a fortnight of the window closing I still think it’s more than likely.

What worries me is what Speakman would (or wouldn’t) do with the money.

I know Leeds have had a shed full of money in, but they were on their arses struggling to get players out and get a team together start of last season. Do we think they're going to spend 20m+ on a single player with a year of parachute payments left?

appreciate they have to strengthen the squad but thats an awful lot at this level.

I'm not sure. If he goes for 25m then it's job done for me, although we'd obviously miss him and having pissed about all summer with Mendy would leave us massively short.
