Not the only poster to hear it eitherVery odd this. If Copley is saying it’s not been done, then he’s either been briefed by the club or spoken to Harte.
Obviously we don’t know whether @skunk hater gets his info from the club or Clarke’s side, but given he got Poveda right I’d be inclined to guess it’s the club’s side.
Like I say, odd.
Well the fact is we were sloppy in what limited possession we had.Ah right. The old ignore what is literal fact to suit an agenda. Class.
I getting the word...hope he stays but the way he looked over at the end of the game at cardiff was a bit like 'i'll remember this as i won't be seeing them again'
Not the only poster to hear it either
Like I said earlier, he 100% wasn't great. But he wasn't noticeably shocking or anything like that.Well the fact is we were sloppy in what limited possession we had.
86% pass rate... he's misplaced 4 of his 28 passes.
He's lost possession on 6 occasions through an unsuccessful touch. This is twice as many times as any other player on the pitch.
He's attempted a dribble on 3 occasions, failed 3 occasions.
On the face of it, I didn't really think he was any sloppier than anyone else on Saturday - and we were sloppy mind - but the stats say he was our most expensive player in terms of giving the ball away.
@skunk hater posted Bent was leaving on the morning he was sold...he was absolutely slated.Very odd this. If Copley is saying it’s not been done, then he’s either been briefed by the club or spoken to Harte.

obviously without going into specifics - is your "source" someone who works in the club or friend of family type scenario??If it doesn’t happen I’m prepared to hold my hands up and say I was wrong but the fact the person who told me has got nowt wrong and with things he’s said out of the blue (like Le Bris 4 or 5 days before it was even on twitter) fills me with confidence on this![]()
He does a lot of harrying in the middle and kept the ball moving well on Saturday. He gave the ball away a couple of times in poor positions and gave away a dangerous free kick, but those sort of things happen.People kidding themselves he’s good enough for the defensive midfield position on here. Hes nowhere near good enough.
Hes being wasted playing there and will cost us this season as he did last season.
Yeah mine comes indirectly from the club via 1 personobviously without going into specifics - is your "source" someone who works in the club or friend of family type scenario??
Only reason I ask is I have worked as a younger age group academy coach at football clubs, and even from within the ITK flow of info isn't as free flowing as you would think! I've been made to look a right bellend with supposed ITK which turned to crap!
It was a couple times in the first half, nowt more. He had a good game, like the restI didn’t think he was very good but I didn’t notice him specifically giving it away repeatedly.
Hopefully true then. Absolutely everything crossed!!!!!!!Yeah mine comes indirectly from the club via 1 person
I remember him doing summit crap in the first half, and I thought it was Browne cos I saw the number 4 and I'd forgotten he'd been given a new number.Like I said earlier, he 100% wasn't great. But he wasn't noticeably shocking or anything like that.
Every chance the agent fed copely bs to protect the news maybeSo even more likely that they’re hearing it from the club’s side. Which would lead you to believe Copley is hearing it from the agent’s side.
Also, why are people arguing about Ekwah v Neil on a thread about Clarke?![]()
Because I don’t see the point in getting my hopes up, a lot on here has been proven to be incorrect so if a verified journalist queries it then yes I’ll be questioning it.Just had a quick look at your posting history, and i'd say 90+% of your posts have been on threads like this pouring scorn on them. Your from Portsmouth and the Sunderland Echo's sister paper is the Portsmouth Echo. Hmmmmm.
tbf copley said still was never a contender the enitre head coach search and was proven wrongBecause I don’t see the point in getting my hopes up, a lot on here has been proven to be incorrect so if a verified journalist queries it then yes I’ll be questioning it.
Nothing to with Copley bloke has me blocked on X so I can’t even see his posts
This is old news mate.Apart from the poster on here is a credible source.
Should never have given him the captaincy imo. Just more responsibility that he didn't need. Needs to concentrate and focus on his game.I remember him doing summit crap in the first half, and I thought it was Browne cos I saw the number 4 and I'd forgotten he'd been given a new number.
Can't even remember what it was now.
We need to control the ball better in midfield though, and that's Neil's responsibility - even more so now that he's captain.
