Jack Clarke

Rumoured to be £145m?
Unless Red Bull have given them wings.
£190m but sold Gray, Adams and Sinisterra for £75m to stay within FFP (unlike Leicester cheats) last football accounting year ending June 30th 2024.

We have then brought in money for Summerville, Rutter, Kamara, Cresswell, Roca, Llorente etc so debt is no longer an issue as we also have biggest revenue from gate receipts. commercial income and sponsorship (Red Bull) in championship.

The board and Farke are under huge pressure to use income on 4/5 quality additions to squad. If they don't deliver before next home game v Hull there will be hell on as current squad is not top 2 material.

1. Two years left on his deal.
2. Looks happy on the pitch.
3. Frustrating to some we are frugal but now not in debt.
4. It’s late on in the transfer window.

We could always say no. Or at least say to him let’s see where we are in January offer him a massive promotion bonus.

I'd be very surprised if he left for Leeds this window mind. Just don't see it happening. If Leeds go up this year and we don't then it would be an obvious move next summer for him.

For all Jack seems like a nice level headed lad who enjoys his football here, he will be like every other player and will chase the best deal possible. I would imagine our wage structure will be much inferior to Leeds. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if he ends up there. Hopefully not though

Farke couldn’t get them promoted last season and that team has had the heart ripped out of it, can’t see him doing it this season with the current squad. He’ll be gone by January. Leeds fans I know are worried 👍

It's not paranoia at all. It's a realistic take on the situation. Clarke won't exactly be given much choice if X club comes in and offers us £25M and to double his wages. He'll be gone. It's not hard to work out mate.
This is how football business works. Offer an acceptable offer of say £25 million and he’s offski.

This, I reckon he would be happy to wait until next window and see where we are. And his value won’t go down in that time
I think you’ll win the league, you’re too big for this league anyway.
