3 ITKs have now said he's agreed a new contract. Surely they all can't be wrong.A lot in the press about him rejecting a new deal even though the ITK on here said he had agreed an extension. Loads about Leeds as well. Hmmm

That’s Harte pushing for a move elsewhere. It’s where Copley and Paste got it from anyways, direct from him.A lot in the press about him rejecting a new deal even though the ITK on here said he had agreed an extension. Loads about Leeds as well. Hmmm
Difference tween agreeing & signing a new contract though unfortunately3 ITKs have now said he's agreed a new contract. Surely they all can't be wrong.
Couldn't agree moreIf Clarkes best option is Leeds, then it’s a bit of a kick in the plums for him.
If the end goal is playing in the PL, for PL money, then Leeds is a gamble. Arguably more of a gamble than playing this season for us and seeing what January or next summer brings.
He’s the main man here and the team is set up to his strengths.
Couldn't agree more
You’d hope so, but in the immortal words of fallen ITKs past “things change”.3 ITKs have now said he's agreed a new contract. Surely they all can't be wrong.
Where is that news from? Club haven't said anythingAgrees 2 year extension to his contract good news all round

Feels like a signing to get the fans on side. Imagine selling your best players for over £100m and bringing in Ryan Kent or something.I don’t get the logic from Leeds either. As good as he is, they would have to pay a fortune and they’ve got Gnonto who can now play on the left after Summerville has left.
Its a lot harder visiting family and friends from Saudi mate, I agree though is would be a sideways step for himBit of red n white tinted glass on my part admittedly. But if money is all he cares about he can get a thick slice of cheese playing in the Saudi 2nd tier.
Given Leeds have sold their best players and we have a good core of young and hungry players, I find it hard to believe you'd leave SAFC and go to Leeds for football reasons
Something like that ...So let me get this right.
Clarke has agreed to a two year extension if he’s still here after the deadline? So once the deadline shuts, he signs it regardless of whether Harte is happy to do so?
So now Harte is doing his utmost to get someone to bid high enough for Clarke for us to consider cashing in, feeding lines to the press that Clarke would be interested in a move away?
Is that right?

Fine probably. Seems to enjoy his football here and if he's not sold & doesn't sign a new contract all cards are in his hands. He loses ~£15m value in the next 12 months so can always sign for someone cheaper then (probably for a higher wage than if he goes now).It would be Interesting to know how Clarke would feel if the club rejected say a £25M bid from a PL team.
Fingers crossed. I'd be made up if we tied him down.3 ITKs have now said he's agreed a new contract. Surely they all can't be wrong.
Copley ran a story the other day saying how Clarke hasn’t agreed a contract despite what people on here were saying, which he got direct from Ian Harte. This new article will be Harte stirring the pot again imo, as he has done for a while now.I
who what where? Explain
