Ivan Toney was a young lad who got a big move to Newcastle. During his time playing for those lot, their kit sponsor was a betting company. It didn’t work for Toney at Newcastle. He had to go down before coming back up. He played for Peterborough in the Championship and League One, competitions sponsored by a betting company. He won awards with a betting company plastered across them. He then got a move to Brentford. A club owned by a man who owns a gambling company. He played in the Premier League for Brentford, sporting a betting company across his chest. Ivan Toney cannot place a bet, though.

Exactly. They have absolutely caned him and yet a player who gets an opposition player sent off which definitely influences the result emerges scot free and the authorities will not even consider punishing him retrospectively. The game is bent. Punishing a player having a bet is basically virtue signalling in order to cover the more obvious, serious things wrong with football.
