With the press reporting similar information now I think it's obvious they was a bust up. I new that before I out it on here but never even considered it to be significant enough to contribute looking his job.

Yesterday morning you mean?

Maybe the olive branch to Cattermole was his biggest mistake....got him involved again and it's bitten him on the arse.

Interesting how you didn't mention it until it was in the papers.

And don't say it wasn't, I work in the industry and it was in at least 3

Really. Fair enough. I never seen anything close to the papers till very late on mate. Something's are left behind the scenes. But when he got the bullet I thought fuck it!

Short bought Di Canio in to sort the dressing room out, he has not gone just cos of a bust up its cos of a combination of things with maybe yesterday's being the final straw

Maybe mate. I am not wondering why we didn't just offer him a short deal and said see ya in the summer. The fact he was allowed to sign 14 players and sent packing after 450 mins of football is pathetic really.

If short recognised a problem in the dressing room and brought di Canio in to sort it then why sack him when the players don't like it?

I would like to know what the Board are thinking here. When they made the decision to boot MON and appoint PDC, with the RFD involvement,it was a clear statement that they wanted to make a break with the ways of the past which had led to average players being signed on long-term,high-cost contracts and who were regularly underachieving on and off the pitch. They must have known that it would take time to reverse this position and to get a squad of younger, hungrier players together who would eventually be in a position to mount a serious challenge for some success. They must have known of PDC's characteristics....he hasn't changed.....and the risks this would pose, and surely never thought that the objectives would be achieved overnight....indeed,may even involve a relegation before getting it right. If they weren't prepared to ride the inevitable challenges, why did they appoint him? To get rid of him 5 games in,after what seems an altercation with some players, which they would not have wanted, but knew was a possibility, seems to be a panic filled,ill-considered move demonstrating no clear idea of any commitment to their original decision. As in any business,if it is to be successful, there has to be clear positive leadership in control of a properly thought out strategy........something sadly lacking here and which requires some forthright explanation.

Incoming aren't 'his' we'd have signed the same players regardless of the manager.
