He knows fuck all....the manager was the architect of his own downfall.....the man is a control freak and looked to control every aspect of professional sportsmen's lives. A blind man on a galloping horse could see this shit was doomed to failure. All the idiots on here who just want to see people with more money and talent than themselves punished just because they have shit lives and shit jobs themselves need to face up to the reality of life....
Are you suggesting the players have no blame to take at all?

It worries me a bit that the players are taking all the stick for this on here more or less because they are 'spoiled brats on huge salaries'. Poor much maligned PDC becomes the scapegoat for malevolent players, hellbent on bringing him down.

Step back a moment. Why would Short and the Board knee jerk react to a players' revolt. Of course they wouldn't. PDC has given ample evidence of his bizarre management style before today anyway. Just suppose the guy really is a bit unhinged? It would be very hard to enjoy working for someone like this. I'd urge people to wait for this to unravel and keep an open mind, rather than assume its simply a bunch of malign players abusing their positions.
What worries me is that the players, instead of following di Canio's instructions to be more professional in all aspects, have revolted and put the clubs position in peril so that he would be sacked. What if ES had stood firm say until the New Year by which time we were to far adrift.
At least PDC was striving for the best for the club, whilst the players were willing to send us down the swanny for a cushy life!

Well their golf handicap will start improving again, panic over, we got rid of the nasty man is what they'll be saying, f***ing arseholes.

I think we would all like to see modern footballers brought down a few notches, and made to work hard for their money. But it is absolute madness to think you can do it unilaterally.

Nonsense the manager was a nutjob the players hated him.
I bet they f***ing did they went from being able to be lazy bastards to actually having to do some work for there cash. If it is true that the players have kicked off to get him sacked then they can fuck right off for me like.

Or maybe, just maybe, a manager may just get it right here ala Laudrup at Sawnsea

Managers have been getting it right at Swansea for years. More to do with their chairman and board placing their trust in a carefully appointed and well suited man.

How do you know they've 'revolted' at all?

I've heard a similar story to many posters on here now from a source within the club - the players met today and decided they couldn't cope with PDC anymore.
