Is winning not that important anymore?

Just watching the big bash (sorry)

The Renegades (sorry again), need 30 from 38 and are just chucking it away. Now 6 down

It should be a doddle; why don’t need to hit sixes? Just win.

Been watching the highlights on youtube for any Durham connections, there has been one or two

Arrogance and bravado I would imagine. They don’t think for a second they’ll lose the game and want to get it done as quickly as possible.

Is NRR a factor in this? I suppose if teams are in a strong position to win they will try to win in as quick a time as possible. A bit of risk and reward?

They did. But they were 96/3 off 8 or something. They made hard work of it. Through stupid batting
It seems to be the modern way that has really crept in these last few years, you used to see teams when on top in second innings milk singles and cruise to victory with maybe a over to spare, now teams just keep on hitting!

Not sure in down to more confidence in lower order than ever but seen it cost a few sides games they should have easily won
