Is Trai Hume good enough for the Prem?

I think he’s good and might be better next season, but you’d have to trust the recruitment team’s ability to find someone as good or better for that price. However if we turned it down I could understand that too.

Could not turn down 30 million for Hume like. Go toward better, but don't imo think any one will pay 30 million for him.
Think its as far ferched as 25 Million for Dan Neil talk, mainly on here, last year

Yeah I would sell too but he’s an established player, young, versatile, never injured, superb mentality - can see why his valuation is high.

Agreed. He's even being targeted in the air at set pieces now, as he can't defend them.
All teams generally target fullbacks on crosses as they are generally shorter than big centre backs. He's a cracking player, a lad whole can fill in various positions, a lad who is fully committed, low maintenance to look after, and helps with the homegrown quota.

I think he could have had a few more goals this season as well but 1st season in the prem so will be better next season in that respect

Aye agree with this.

Don't think he does as he was in Northern Ireland until quite late.

I'd value him at 25-30 million as the selling club. People saying 15 million are massively undervaluing a youn g player who is never injured and generally does well.
Couldn't agree more. The lad has gone from a very low level > league one (struggled) > championship (excelled) and debut Premier league season with great success. He's been found out in a few games because of opposition tactics, or his own failings. Can we name a player who hasn't? Certainly does do well.

Should have scored with a header against Man City certainly and has gone close on other occasions.

Only as a backup, and if RLB continues to play him in midfield regularly, then I'd rather sell. In any event, I'd definately sell if we can get a good fee, too many limitations (poor marking and gives the ball away even when under NO pressure) despite being a very good tackler.

When did he struggle in L1? He hardly played. He was signed with the future in mind.

Definitely keep for me, can tell he's a good apple and is pretty versatile and still developing. As far as first seasons in the prem goes he's been sound
