Is Trai Hume good enough for the Prem?

I do get what you are saying, but I still think you are being harsh oh Hume.

I think he’s a better footballer than you give him credit for and ffiw still improving. You’ve got to be good to be getting a game every week in this team. If you’re not, you ain’t getting picked.

I don’t think he’s reckless either. Bally could be at times, Cattermole too. John Kay definitely! Hume is more measured and I go back to the point of the energy he brings to the team and stadium - we have ALWAYS loved a proper tackle that leaves the opponent on the floor. Intimidation, at the stadium of light is a thing and it is 💯 a factor in why nobody has managed to beat us yet at home.

I agree. The crowd play that part. The atmosphere against the mags was amazing and hostile.
The players you mention underline my point.
All have been firm favourites of mine and a few more can be added to the list.
Name a brilliant team in the last ten years who has an enforcer in it? Be interesting?

How are you defining a brilliant team (in the context of what SAFC can realistically aspire to be within the next 2-3 years)?

It helps to be quick but isn’t essential, Neville was never pedestrian but was also not what you’d really call fast, however he had a very good understanding of the position he played and was one of the best around.

Obviously Hume is not in that class but he’s not bad either, only cost us about 50 notes and a big bar of dairy milk didn’t he?, has some leadership qualities about him anarl.
I like him much improved scope for more to come
