Is Trai Hume good enough for the Prem?

Have to say i considered this today, after our summer purchases he seems to stand out a lot more as a weaker link by prem standards but i am very happy to give him ample time to adapt considering he was one of our stand out players last season and has committed to the club long term. Hoping he can only get better.

I was never worried about his technical ability or his drive, but was worried about his pace a bit...The jury is probably still out a bit but it looks like he's really been working on his anticipation and positioning.

Amazing what a good coaching setup can do, which is why I get so annoyed with the dicks on here who love to proclaim than none of our promotion team can possibly hack it in the prem

I thought he was the least wasteful of the team & had a really good game. To me he’s made the step-up far better than I expected.

I’ll be watching it back & perhaps revise my opinion but it shows how different people see the game through different eyes.
I thought he was very wasteful in possession in the first half.

Maybe it was Talbi. Maybe I need a bigger TV and an Ultra Mega Stupendous HD stream.
Think he’s a more talented player than Bardsley ever was personally.
He's got a bit further to go before we can be saying that with any confidence imho.

I like the lad and he's a 110%-er but Bardsley played in mid-table premier league teams and amassed 303 appearances in that league.

Thus far, Trai has 3.

It remains to be seen how high his ceiling is.

We need 2 good players for every position but..if we do get Lucumi and he is indeed the monster defender our recruitment team believe he is my back 4 would be
Mukiele Alderete Lucumi and Reinildo
Would agree with this tbh. Think Mukiele is probably more natural at right back from what I’ve seen of him, not that he’s played there yet for us. Nice problems to have though.

Only him and roberts out of our L1 veterans have played in the league so far this season. You'd expect 09 to maybe come in as a sub/rotation player once he's over his injury. Interesting though that our only L1 veteran to step up properly so far is the one who couldn't really get much game time in L1.
