Is Trai Hume good enough for the Prem?


It’s THE big question for me and the jury is still out, he’s been given and signed a new deal so someone with all the stats thinks he’s worth the risk.
Make no mistake about it the big boys will be watching and any weakness will be highlighted and targeted if there is one.
Really hope the lads keeps going as he is because he looks to have taken to the prem like a duck to water.

He wasn’t great today. Looked slow, was the least comfortable on the ball and a bit out of his depth.
Put a few trademark challenges in to rise the crowd and would probably fool the fans who go to clap and see guts.

However there was one thing towards the latter end of the game which was absolute quality.
He took a difficult pass and managed with some real skill to lay it off. At first I thought it was Xhaka but it was Hume. Superb skill.

I thought he was the least wasteful of the team & had a really good game. To me he’s made the step-up far better than I expected.

I’ll be watching it back & perhaps revise my opinion but it shows how different people see the game through different eyes.

Yeah he'll get dropped if we get Lucile. Hume is good going forward and dropping into the middle, but he's made quite a few big mistakes that have led to goals, even at championship level. Still young though and will learn.

I agree. I’d also class Xhaka, Diarra & Alderete as that too.

The others are all of very good standard potentially next level too.

Recruitment has been fantastic so far. Hope it continues for the next couple of games.
 
Thought he looked like he was gonna take the pen today, dunno if they were making it look that way to take the heat off le fee.

Interesting that he's the corner taker for one side now

Think hes a much better footballer than Bardo personally. Reason why Tone and Le Bris have both tried to make him invert into CM at diff times is because hes so good with the ball. Plus the link up between him, Amad and Pat was insane. Hes very comfy given the ball in tight spaces with 2 men on him and very rarely loses it, will suck them in and pop it off to get his winger away. Think he played CM for a bit as a youth.
