Is Trai Hume good enough for the Prem?

I know it's only a few games but I think he is absolutely ready for the premier league. He's also being pushed further forward and has been expected to get crosses in. Be interesting to see what happens when Ballard gets back or we get another centre back as Mukiele is more of an attacking full back from what I've seen

Did seem to stagnate a bit for 12 to 18 months after the Mowbray playoff season but thought during 22/23 that Hume had the the most potential out of all the players we owned at the time and he looks capable of making the step up comfortably.

Tin hat firmly secured but I thought he was extremely wasteful, in the first half especially.

Positives to his game for having so much of our play go through him and he’s clearly going to be fine in this league but I was a little frustrated as I usually really like his final play.

No need for a tin hat.
He wasn’t great today. Looked slow, was the least comfortable on the ball and a bit out of his depth.
Put a few trademark challenges in to rise the crowd and would probably fool the fans who go to clap and see guts.

However there was one thing towards the latter end of the game which was absolute quality.
He took a difficult pass and managed with some real skill to lay it off. At first I thought it was Xhaka but it was Hume. Superb skill.

Noticed we are directing free kicks towards him to head on or across the goal.
Good pro is Trai, won’t be in our full strength starting line up after this transfer window.

I think Hume is class and 1 I had no doubt about stepping up... however if Mukiele performance levels stay as high as today + that long throw, Hume has a fight on his hands.
