Is Keith Downie forgiven?

I take him at his word that he cannot cover us to an extent, on a National level, while in League One. To be fair to him I’ve heard nowt but good things from him since we got back up.. obviously he leans more towards the Mags, guess he knows where his bread’s buttered, but he put out a Warning Video on YouTube months ago warning the Mags that they probably wouldn’t win the derby… and he was right. I mean, after ten minutes you could see, even a draw for them would’ve been a result.

There is surely a contractual obligation to let the twat in. The club are quite savvy over our image these days and telling this moron he cant come in would go down quite well amongst the fans.

Mind, surely we’re not required to give him pie and mash in the press box.
 
Bless him, Keef can’t win either way. I’d have been annoyed had we lost to that Man Utd team tonight. How many of their players would have got in our first team apart from Cunha?

Am still waiting for a thread devoted to Luke Edwards - he really is the biggest mag w***er of a “journalist” in the national papers.

I’ve said this before mate I was at an evening with Phillips and Reid at the SoL back in 2019 and Downie was the “host”. He spent most of the night ripping the piss out of them because Benitez had left.
