I don’t think he’s a Mag. I think Keith Downie is and always has been all about Keith Downie. Newcastle was a great vehicle for brand Keith Downie. If Sunderland was a better vehicle, he’d use us for Brand Keith Downie.
He’s not very clever using Newcastle pictures with Ant and Dec as his social media profile picture. Anyone with an ounce of knowledge knows that’s going to wind people up, especially when your job is “North East Football Reporter.” The way he started crying about the takeover, again, was all about him and how Stavely welcomed him into the inside. A weird weird bloke by all accounts tbh.

Spoke to him at an event when we were in L1 and he basically said Sky have no interest in clubs in the 3rd tier, so he had to report on what he was told to.Obviously now a MLF since promotion and has had the Mags rattled with our constant transfer updates and excitement at our signings. It’s a yes from me.
