Is Boro a derby?

Now you're being proper daft.

I'm from County Durham marra.

Read this properly, I think it is a derby. Just not the derby.

You banging on like you are, just kind of confirms your feelings of inferiority.

Biggest league game of the season for you.

A game with a bit more of an edge for us.

Deal with it man ffs. 😁
Feelings of inferiority??
Why ?
By pointing out that your club has done no more than Boro has in the last 60 years or so ?

I'm not bothered whether you (or anyone) else sees it as a 'derby', its certainly not our biggest game of the season as far as i'm concerned.

Your biggest game surely could be this Saturday-almost a must not lose ? ( after the start and tonking last night by Stoke reserves ?)

Derby or not I'd say Boro was the kick in the balls we never recovered from last season. Us, Boro, West Brom, Stoke and Norwich are kind of the old Premier League/non-parachute clubs wanting to get amongst the parachute clubs. There's kind of weird rivalry/empathy attached to that more than local bragging rights.

Obviously dont wanna lose any game, but calling saturday a must not lose ?
In August?

Yes, it was Stoke 'reserves' - but it was pretty much our 'reserves' too

I’ll explain
Creating loads chances -but not really setting it alight -international break coming -dint really want to go into that thinking we are creating but not winning would be my thoughts ( fwiw I think you will kick on soon )-I think Cardiff is a big game but you should win they are really struggling and look poor
However there is always the possibility despite playing well -that fades and those chances diminish ? Big game for you

Fair enough - apologies.
See what you mean, i was forgetting about the international break coming up, and yes we've been creating a lot of chances but not putting them away .
No guarantee those chances wont dry up.
Very early days though , and i do have confidence in Carrick (although he's obviously still learning.
