perhaps the most boring, least charismatic person in the history of sport? Honestly, things like this really pisses me off. He is obviously just the golden boy in the eyes of the ECB for some reason. He pissed me off when he played because he still got picked even though he was shit and there was Graeme Swann kicking about doing fuck all. I can't endure more of this boring bastard. The ECB do this all the time, they fall in love with someone who is terrible and persist on playing them. Think Jade Dernbach, Sajid Mahmood, Tim Bresnan, Jonny Bairstow. Get fat Shane in please.

And he wasn't shite. He had his limitations but he was a decent cricketer and whilst he has done fuck all to deserve the coach job he is very popular with the team by all accounts
 
He did a holding job in the side, although I admit I absolutely despair at the thought of him as England Cricket Coach
