Iraola signs for Liverpool

I'd put money on Arbeloa going back to his previous role at RM (there was no contract length given when he took over from Alonso iirc?) and Iraola going there. Don't think the Basque link is enough to stop him going to Madrid now.

Surely though he can take a leaf out of Brucey's play book and "dust wor selves off" for next season.

New managers ALWAYS want to spend money, I know Liverpool have buckets of cash, but paying off his contract and paying someone else must dent even them to some extent.

Or qualify for next season, would be a huge blot on his copybook.
think Slot is a gonner in the summer replaced by Alonso
Howe will be off to the england job when Tuchel inevitably doesnt win the world cup
Pochettino, Glassner & Maresca id expect to do the merrygo round of the available clubs too

Tuchel has signed a new contract with England so I can't see the FA wanting to pay him off so early unless it's an absolute disaster of a tournament and we somehow get knocked out before the QF's.

Alonso for Slot will happen IMO, if not this summer then certainly if they don't have a good start next season. Glasner and Maresca will be in with a shout for the City job if City win the league and Pep leaves as expected. Hasn't Pochettino already hinted that he'd stay with the USA after the World Cup and is just waiting on the tournament to finish before announcing new contract?

I think he'll head back to Spain.

He's got a good set up at Bournemouth and most clubs looking for a new gaffer in the PL are pretty much sideways moves.

Surely he has higher aspirations than the Saudis. Could probably get any job he wanted that’s available
Well he isn’t daft enough to jump at Chelsea. Man United possibly. I don’t think Liverpool fire Slot despite having spent £400m to make them worse.
Man Utd(I think they appoint Carrick when they finish top 4) or back to Spain I reckon.
So many good managers are going to turn down the mags this summer it will be spectacular
Like to expand Brian?
I am struggling to think of any names, they would be likely to seriously approach, who would meet the criteria of “good manager”.
Would be interesting to get some ahead of time, prior to everyone linked to Newcastle being deemed shite anyway 😉
