We should not be looking to replace our manager. We should be looking to strengthen in key positions through good recruitment and stick with him.

What about Barca? Would that be ok or even worse?Especially as you pointed out his desire not to spoil his legacy by managing AB , its fair to say managing RM has even greater jeopardy.
Yeah. I can only think of one Basque manager of RM ever – Xabi Alonso. And look how that went.Especially as you pointed out his desire not to spoil his legacy by managing AB , its fair to say managing RM has even greater jeopardy.
Much less of an issue, I'd say (Barcelona have never had a manager born in the Basque country, mind). What about Barca? Would that be ok or even worse?
I’m totally ignorant about all this. Going to read up on it now!Yeah. I can only think of one Basque manager of RM ever – Xabi Alonso. And look how that went.
Besides that, I can only find reference to just the six players who've played for both Athletic and RM. It's just so uncommon, you can almost discount him from a role there. But, as said above, money talks.

Iraola to MagsIraola big upgrade on Howe but NUFC in a no-mans land with PIF losing interest.
I'd say Iraola will keep his powder dry until City and Chelsea decide on who's managing next season.
Fixed that for you.(enter any manager here) will get at least first half dozen games next season.
If he continues where he seems to be leaving off there could be some painful decisions to be made
EH is looking more and more like a man who needs a break whenever he is done at the Mags.Iraola to Mags
Howe back Bournmouth
Said this when Iraola was once first mentioned leaving
Probably but he is Basque. That could be an issue. No bigger job in world football.Wouldn’t he be better off going to Real Madrid?
Or Howe to England when we flop at WC?Iraola to Mags
Howe back Bournmouth

I don't like this at all , however :Iraola to Mags
Howe back Bournmouth

As it turned out I would argue that Frank wasn’t the issue at Spurs.Managing Bournemouth is a totally different job to managing Man Utd or Real Madrid, I'd be surprised if any clubs at that level took a chance on him. Look at how Thomas Frank struggled with the step up from Brentford to Spurs for example.
The Saudis would probably have been a good next step for him.
As it turned out I would argue that Frank wasn’t the issue at Spurs.
It's been known for a month or so that he wasn't going to Athletic Club. They look like appointing a German manager so there could be a few openings in the Premier potentially, good manager but is he one of these who is better as a big fish in a smaller club?
Time will tell if he gets a bigger club. . I know he puts me off because he looks like he chews his dinner with his mouth open and his touchline histrionics are a pain.
He looks a fit for Chelsea but what a basket case of a set up.
Even though reports say different , if EH left up the road is he an upgrade or a downgrade for them ?
Aye , seems like more of a sideways step if it happens.Palace have done a great job if they've convinced him to go there.
Not sure how reliable that is, but it’ll be an excellent appointment from Palace. You must be logged on to see media items
How is he a big upgrade to Howe? Howe has the better record. Howe led Bournemouth from nearly dropping out of the football league with a -17 point deduction, all the way to the premier league, where he kept them for 5 seasons. He took Newcastle from relegation candidates in 2021 to champions league football and their first trophy in 70 years.Iraola big upgrade on Howe but NUFC in a no-mans land with PIF losing interest.
