*~*~* Ipswich v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Ipswich weren’t very good but they wanted it more. They threw themselves to ground to win free kicks and screamed for everything. We just accepted it and had a moan here and there. We didn’t play bad we just didn’t have the sort of intensity needed to win games in this league.

I can answer that.... We don't play to Rusyn strengths... We started with a half hearted press that doesn't suit Rusyn.. if we properly committed he would be ideal up there.

Jobe was available several times as an outball where he used his body to move us up the pitch. Jobe is good in defence too.

Ba had a good game today and it al fell apart when he went off.

Did Rusyn touch the ball when he came on?

The team picks itself at the moment, the starting lineup is all we have... Would like to see Hemir on as first sub..
But if we did start him, surely we would play to rusyns strengths and press, particularly with ba next to him.

Jobe was much better playing prichards role earlier in the season. Rusyn did plenty of hold up work in the last league game, made runs, found space in the box and finished his chance well. That last bit is what we're missing at the minute.

I know I sound all doom and gloom considering we're 7th with everything to play for, but it just seems that nothing has changed for the better since Beale has come in and it doesn't look like it will either.

I hope whatever happens we start seeing some of the better performances we had from individuals more regularly, but I don't see where it starts.

I've said it many times on here? What set Michael Beale out from the rest of candidates?

Apart from being out of work, his CV isn't that inspiring. He only looked like a half decent coach. There's nothing outstanding. What made the board think he is a better option than John Eustace or Nathan Jones? Nevermind Will Still or Kim Hellberg!
Because he talks Speakos talk as qpr and Rangers fans said. Nothing else he’s done fuck all in the game as a player or coach just a bluffer who needed a job and we didn’t need to pay anything for and worse still the players know this. WE are fucked with the kid in charge whois brainwashed by speakeo and has promised Bellinghams family he will play unless injured.

How long before the chants of “Beale out” start? He’s never had the fan base and it looks clear that the players aren’t playing for him.
That should be 1 min after the Speakman out one starts and should continue for the whole game. Hollow words from Speakman, he's a charlatan

I did not want Ba to play then he comes in plays his best match for us . After an hour we are crying out for a striker. This clown takes off Ba and puts on a less attacking player then he takes Pritchard off.
Bellingham was anonymous again and should have been dragged off after an hour.
This guy is clueless
All he had to do was Rusyn on for Bellingham. Beale is a shitshow

I generally don't react in the way you describe the 'delusional wankers' do... thing is.. more and more sensible fans are slowly having the seem thoughts... I don't think it's an over reaction when people struggle to understand the subs being made, the tactics employed. We have problems, I think its only fair for fans to get vent their frustrations.

I stand by my feelings that this bloke is a terrible appointment and do not think we will improve under his stewardship.

There’s a difference about being unhappy and not rating Beale and going on like some posters on here are though?

I am of the same mind that Beale isn’t the man to take us forward but unfortunately I haven’t got a spare £100m to make those decisions.

I’m far from a happy clapper and I vent as much as the next fan but the badge, the shirt deserves my support and each and every player that gives puts in a shift will get the plaudits and my support.

As I said the eagerness to post, highlight and even celebrate our failures is a display of cuntiness of the highest order.

That’s not the SAFC fanbase I know.

Same old, same old. We struggle at times to see games out and get the results. We didn’t look like winning and having enough about us to see that out, which shows the age and naivety of the team and inability to put away enough chances.

I’m no fan of Beale but this issue has been present before he was here.
