Mowbray was steady away without being great, might have even got us to playoffs. We should have kept him on until we had a top manager lined up.

I think it’s evident Mowbray getting sacked was nothing to do with performance and all to do with his disagreements with Speakman. Speakman just wanted a yes man in and he got his man
