Compared to his recent games it's a slight improvement but he's still playing poorly in the grand scheme of things. Or whatever he's being asked to do isn't working..he's never actually in the CF position..the one time he was there, he got played through

Wish he'd do it more often, disrupt their defence.

Wish he'd accept that there are three midfielders behind him who should be able to deal with the defensive work once they've broken the press. Else we win the ball back with noone to pass to

Right, what's that got to do with it. They're still a good side.

They drew with Norwich in a derby, drew with Leicester and away to Stoke. Other than a rough result away to a tough Leeds side who have vastly outspent them, it's not the worst of capitulations is it?
 
Jobe needs to stick to his position a bit more, couple of times we've had no-one up top when the ball goes forward.

Also need to sort the passing out a bit, get it wide to Clarke more so he can take on their fullback on the yellow.
 
Ipswich slightly the better side, partly because of our carelessness on the ball. But this ‘no striker’ thing is plain stupid.
 
Some good moves breaking down with sloppy passes. The passing out of defence needs work if it's going to continue. We are putting ourselves under pressure and losing the ball in dangerous areas. Alese keeps getting passed to when he doesn't have the space and balls from the Ipswich right are getting into the danger area. Ba has looked better than he has been in a while. Clarke not getting much space.

World class coaching, best seen, doesn’t include passing to your team mates.

Find our men, faster and with more urgency. This game is for the taking.
 
We play like a european team. Slow & intricate passing and a bit borint. Needs a gear shift at times but no one in centre of park dictating/able to shift it up a notch.

jobe had fair amount of success with holding it up and we need to make more use of that method of attacking in 2nd half if we're gonna get a result.

Their goal was weak as piss
