if Jobe is meant to be playing upfront why hasn't Beale had a word and told him to stop dropping so deep. and if he's told him to do that and leave no-one up top what is he trying to achieve

Get ball, knock it about a bit. If someone in blue comes near, pass it backwards, let Ballard have a touch and go forward again.

That way it takes 50 passes to get into their box, but the cunning bit is to keep it exciting by letting the ball go astray after 40 passes, so anything could happen.
