*~*~* Ipswich v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Ba had to play, their main threat is their left back so we need width on the right, Pritch needs to start but can't play wide and shouldn't anyway. It's just the decision to start Jobe every week that results in us missing a 10, a right winger or a striker depending on who gets left out for him that week.

It's actually mental that we are so accommodating to him, when we're not even playing him in what should be his best position anyway (as a CM).

Who do you think is picking it? The bloke who signed the 4 strikers?

Haway man 😂😂

Aye

Rusyn has done well since coming into the team and scores. Instantly dropped for f***ing Ba. Jobe is not playing based on merit that's for sure. He's Speakman's pet.

Might well be wrong but I expect this to be a tactical change as we did at home to Leeds.

Personally don’t think Ba is as bad as people like to make out, hope he proves me right after making such a statement:lol:

We really don't like playing anyone who runs into or inside the box do we 😂
Our coaching team haven't got a f***ing clue

There's been daft rumours his contract says he has to play every game. It makes you wonder...
Summit doesn’t add up like. I actually thought he started well earlier in the season, just went downhill the last few month.

With the contract thing, he done an interview just last month saying “At the start of the season, it wasn't the plan to start so many games”, so I’m not too sure what the crack is. 100% needs a rest tho

I'll accept it and say thank fuck for that. You been over the moon with his performances recently? Easy to please you.

He's still a dross footballer who hasn't got a position. Every dog has his day.
You're assuming a lot there. Performances haven't been great results haven't been bad.

If a player plays well I'll say so and not use a "aye but"

Much as I try I can't see the logic in that selection. I wish Speakman would let Beale have a go.

Three points would be nice lads but right now I'd settle for one.

As I’m always at the SOL for home games and usually in the pub for away games,I rarely view the match thread but I’m amazed at the negativity before a ball has been kicked😳

Have to feel for Rusyn. Was probably happy at home with his family, we chased him all summer, paid a decent fee for him to take him to a country where he doesn’t speak the language, then despite him looking the best of a bad bunch, give him a couple of games here and there, but mostly drag him round the country while he gets splinters in his arse.

He’s not that good. The benchmark of the others is very low. If Stewart was still here we would not regard him as an adequate replacement. He’s not in same league as Broadhead and Geldhart so I understand why management think they will get more from another player.
Lads willing granted, but Ipswich Awsy, set up like v Leeds and could be interesting
