Ipswich, Leicester, Southampton

A lot down to the business and approach they took for how bad they have been. But the gap is ridiculous.

Southampton were incredibly open in the championship but were one of the stronger teams in a worse division so got away with things more, premier league is more clinical and take advantage of it more when they are suddenly the weakest team again.

Ipswich transfer business was just bizarre, signing players that didn't fit their system or multiple players for big fees for the same position. Added to back to back promotion, they were always going to be stretched.

Leicester were dreadful when relegated and were still relying on the same players again but 2 years older

Apart from the money, you have to think, wjhat's the point in getting promoted? The game is broken.
For us we need it for the money, if we don’t we will be doing the model with less and less money as time goes on. We’ve been lucky in the aol has produced some talent and we’ve got lucky with one or two. However when rigg Watson Bellingham move on and a few others we may not be that lucky, a few bad windows and fuck knows where we will end up.

Been a bit on the spectrum and checked that of the ten wins the promoted clubs managed in 102 games

A) two came against Spurs (something possibly to bear in mind next season 😂)

B) two came against Bournemouth

C) two came against another promoted club - Leics beat Soton; and Soton beat Ipswich

Pretty depressing all round especially when you think how many of our starting 11 would get a start at a PL club at the moment?

Gap has been exploded by a combination of State funding and mushrooming TV income

Still you never know - we will win the play offs then win the league like Leicester just watch
