Pakistan ties? But Moeen seems to get a gig, so don't know really.

He's always been there or there abouts in the T20 metrics, and leg spin is a sought after commodity so his exclusion is a mystery.

I haven't watched it since it's 1st year irrc. I'll still catch the highlights of any English players who do well mind.

It is noticeable to those that don't partake in it, that the schedule of international cricket looks very different when it's on now. Hardly anything.
 
I will thoroughly enjoy it as I always do every year, I have had a couple of bets for outright winners.

Watching the best cricketers in the world at this format pitting their wits against each other.

Personally I don’t see anything not to like about that.

It's bad enough that they are banned from the IPL, but now with the proliferation of these IPL owners everywhere and in every league. These Pakistani players are going to be effectively banned from all T20 leagues across the world. We're seeing it already.

The next argument "well, their player's aren't good enough anyway, so no loss there". Misses the point entirely.

I get that its great cricket. But it's sporting apartheid no matter how you dress it up.

Remember when we stopped watching wwf as it became less and less believable?

Similar thing will happen to cricket if it already hadn't started imo with all the BS around.

The money grab by the lesser souls is disheartening and a visible detriment to the bastion of sport. Football, F1 sold up ages ago, Golf and boxing more recent. I just hope cricket holds out. I don't have much hope mind as like you say the bcci try and monopolise the whole game.
