Some where some TV executive has deemed that sixes and huge scores are all that tv audiences want. May be true sometimes but there has to be an even contest between bat and ball or eventually huge scoring games becomes a snorefest.

Yeah always loved the IPL and still do, but there has to be acceptance of the increasing balance going far too far in the batsmans favour.

Cricket fans imo have always loved seeing big hitting but when the balance tipped too much in favour of them it’s definitely concerning
