Yeah just a retainer. Probably make it on image rights etc. Apparently the IPL auction over this weekend will have over 100 million "eyeballs" on it.

Yeah, just need to be flavour of the month, have a couple of teams competing for you and you're set for life. Look at the contract Chris Morris got, not a bad player but bloody hell

Archer won't get paid if he doesn't play I don't think, but means when he can play MI have got him on a contract for next season a lot cheaper than a fully fit archer would have probably got

It absolutely is. He was expecting to go for big money, when he went for base price he pulled out (as he is compeltely entitled to).
