Is it just me who finds the names of these teams utterly ridiculous?

There's been an annoying trend of slapping fake, baseball sounding nicknames on cricket and rugby teams since the 90's, but with the IPL they have raised the bar. What even is a 'sunriser'? Knight rider was a TV show from the 1980's and a super king is a size of cigarette. By the time they got to Mumbai they'd run out of ideas altogether.
