I've been rewatching a few episodes of Morse on itv3 and I remember it pioneered the 2 hour drama, but there are times when you want it to be edited a bit. Still a good watch. My favourite being the one with Brian Cox who definitely steals the episode.

Which one was that? Can you remember the season/episode?

Some of the box sets call it 8-12.

Couldn't see a 1-7 set but that's the only thing I can see that makes sense.

cheers, makes sense now I think about it, there were 5 specials made between 1995-2000, so 8,9,10,11,12 if they want to call them that.

Absolutely brilliant show morse , I had every episode downloaded at one time but deleted wm after watching Em all , common issue with lots of older videos the poor quality ( 480 or worse ) really sucks on big screen TVs. I like midsomers and gentlys , got em all , nowhere near as well written as morse but again early series are virtually unwatchable on large screen.

He was the best Hannibal Lecter too.
