i've not seen that since the 80s, and as a bairn my memory was i really enjoyed it... somehow if i saw it today i suspect i'll think its utter dog-shit...

Ha ha - probably best left in your memory that one.

I watched the Never Ending Story with the bairn a few weeks ago. I loved it when I was a kid but it hasn't aged well at all.
