Yes, Leachy is on
Trouble is mate, if you are not going to trust to bowl him against two left handed tail enders, you may as well just say to him you are fielding the rest of the match.
After those first two overs, im fine with that, tbh id tell him hes batting 3 and to focus on getting us some runs as he can bat

This is already starting to have the last day of a long tour feel about it, where the players just want to get home asap

Starting to look like an innings defeat now isn't it?
It's a good pitch, we won the toss, everything in our favour in this game bar team selection.

If you were in any doubt India were on top in the game and the series, listening to the comms for 10 seconds would soon put you right. May as well be shaking pom poms in raa raa skirts ffs.

Remember nair getting that triple a few years back.....think washington fancies his chances
The only consolation is that we havent played our best team at any stage in this series, i expect it to be different in the Summer return series

All I'm hoping for now is that some of the less established batsmen make a few runs. The side could also learn from Jimmy's attitude of still trying your best even if you or the team are at their worst.

The only positive for me is that both Pants and Washington could easily have gone for single figures on another day and then it's a different match.
But they both rode their luck after swinging away like it was the last few overs of a white ball game.

This Axar has a first class batting average of 40, and is coming in at 9.... only Root tops that as a test average
Anderson 5 overs 5 runs
Bess and leach 5 overs 33 runs
