India v England series

to be fair they've bowled India out every chance they have had, they still been fighting. the last 2 tests were absolutely ridiculous

I wouldnt have taken much from it even if we won, just pointless games as far as I was concerned.

urgh these Indians man, after the way they've gone on

I really dont like them
The wickets in the 2nd and 3rd test matches prevented it from being a fair contest between bat an ball but also showed the difference between the two sides in Indian conditions. Rohit had the 2nd test match done on day 1. We had the chance to put pressure on India in the 3rd test when we batted first but collapsed from 70/2 to 112 all out and again the game was all over on day 1.
If this was the 2nd test England would have made more than 200 today but they are cooked not the first time and it won't be the last a touring side are gone before the end of a series.

Agree with that but salem was only using Hameed in a counter discussion rather than advocating him for selection.

Yeah fair enough, probably picked the wrong post to make my point!

I know I have mentioned this before but was making a point, that too much emphasis put on overall averages, averages batting at 6, averages batting at 7 etc etc.

When surely current form is more important?

Predictions for the score at lunch tomorrow? I’m going 97/2
Aye something like that, maybe three down. I actually think we might get them something like 150-5 but lack of bowling options and an annoying partnership involving Ashwin or someone will get them to 300-350

Reactions: Boo
Too short, too wide and little movement
FFS Jimmy, that line and length is just too easy for them to leave.

Better line now, but surely about to run out of steam?
Looks like they are happy to see off the pace and wait for our demon spin attack.
