What do you reckon? Playing all round a straight one, or top edged sweep? Can’t wait to see another Rory Burns masterclass.
Either way, it's single figures for Guy Fawkes

Nothing scuttling along the ground, which for me is the mark of a poor pitch. Consistent turn and bounce if you know where to pitch itHow is it poor? They’ve made 350 and 286, two centurions and batted perfectly well. Consistent turn, conditions haven’t degraded or changed unfairly. We batted and bowled really poorly, can’t excuse it because of the pitch
The argument it's a poor pitch when one side has had 3 good innings with bat and ball is patently bollocksHow is it poor? They’ve made 350 and 286, two centurions and batted perfectly well. Exactly. It’s perfectly fine as a pitch. Obviously doesn’t suit us, but that’s their prerogative as the home side. Don’t see any problems with it apart from the way we batted. Pitch clearly calmed down after 20-30 overs, exactly like it does in England where you see off the new ball then score. Instead we played some stupid shots and got out in stupid ways. Burns, Sibley, root, Pope, Lawrence are all stupid dismissals on a pitch like that.Nothing scuttling along the ground, which for me is the mark of a poor pitch. I honestly thought it was going to break up worse than it has given how it was behaving day 1. Clearly they’ve done a good job producing a pitch that spins from the onset yet still holds up. This is actually turning out to be a well laid track. I still think there will be some balls shooting low if England manage to survive till the evening session on day 4The argument it's a poor pitch when one side has had 3 good innings with bat and ball is patently bollocks
I don’t think the toss was actually that important. First games toss was more important. This has barely changed so far. Their second innings nigh on matching their first shows just that really.I think it has been a poor pitch in so much that it was too reliant on winning the toss but it has been a pitch where if you are patient enough you can score runs on it. Definitely been some way over the top whinging about it.
Buying money that.Ashwin 5-fer is 5/2 on sky bet
Think this is a massively important innings for us. We need to show some fight and some ability to score runs here. Quite a few of the non-root batsmen need runs, especially against spin. Would like to see us get past 250 and for a few of our batsmen to contribute to supplement root.Don't expect us to get any where near their total, but it would be nice to see us dig in and fight back a bit.
