Ashwin showing perfectly that you can bat on this pitch and it isn’t actually that bad. We batted really poorly first innings. Far too much being made of this pitch for me, we’ve let ourselves down big time in this test

How is it poor? They’ve made 350 and 286, two centurions and batted perfectly well. Consistent turn, conditions haven’t degraded or changed unfairly. We batted and bowled really poorly, can’t excuse it because of the pitch
