It’s absolutely amazing how much his batting has improved. Before that Ireland test he was a complete rabbit, had had a bad working over from Morkel and was averaging something like 2 across 12 months

foakes battling away well but the rest could not take the pressure. Imo too many changes in the team, which as far as I can remember, England have never done after winning a first test of a series. The Indians have taken advantage.
