I asked some Indians on another forum.

They said the light in their winter months gets bad. So start at 930am instead of 10 like Sri Lanka.

Feels about right given how crap we sometimes play spin, how we fail to go really big and the fact we are away from home. Have another day like today however and it’s ours to lose, but think 250-2 is only job half done so far.
 
Archer averaging half of leach is criminally bad.

He's been awful for England in all formats with the bat. But clearly capable for Sussex and IPL/BBL

It annoys me that they never mention he bats in England most the time

Hed average more than most of them if he played here

Leachy gets more not outs with batting lower and his big score against Ireland I think it was boosts his stats

I know what you’re saying but it’s been backed in from a high of 7.6 and is very strong
It is not normally this strong because it happens so infrequently these days
My point was the market clearly expects India to at least match our total if not surpass it, which given the last time we were here is understandable but I’m not sure I agree. Our relatively slow scoring rate probably helps the chance of a draw I guess but we won’t lose any time for weather so 🤷
