Pope I'd imagine, with Lawrence at 6. Pope played in a few big series, I think the onus is on him to do it.

It kind of sums my moan up from last week when they announced Bairstow, Buttler going home

Its Crawley, be a miss, but we probably get by

imagine if that was Root or Stokes, which could happen

we simply dont have enough batting options in the squad

Ed Smith does this time after time, so many seamers in the squad, 1 reserve batsman!!!

Super left field but Ali at 3 presents the opportunity of playing the extra seamer in woakes or broad/anderson or even fokes as a batsman

we don’t need 6 bowlers

I really think if we go down that route again like we did under Baylis we will get beat 4-0

We need 6 batsman and a Keeper at 7

If Woakes or Ali are in the top 7 we can’t win in my opinion

He got a hundred at 4 and 5 last time. Got moved up to 3 during the series

But then this was 4 years ago.

He spent the majority of his county career opening or at 3. Stokes pope and Lawrence are now the options being mentioned to bat 3. When all are really a number 5/6

Mate Ali cant bat in the top six like, he's not the same player he was

Pope or Lawrence need to bat 3, simple as that

If Lawrence has any hope of breaking into this team then he needs to bat the top of the order.
