India v England second ODI - 8am

The issue they’ve got is that they don’t have a clue who their number 7 should be
Yeah totally agree, if they want to keep going harder there need longer depth to the batting, if they want to pick bowlers and the likes of Overton so high then they need to build more to final overs.

Personally I would not even have him in T20 side despite his strike rate and definitely not in one day side.

Would move Livingstone to seven and Smith at 6 when fit

Root is doing the perfect job.

Brook and the others at the other end need to take more chances and do the bulk of the scoring.

Brook scoring at less than 50 per 100 balls

Run rate down to 5.5 per over.

The average score on this ground is 350.

We're going to struggle to get 300.

150 up after 27 overs only 2 wickets down is the positive.

Unless Buttler and Livingston go daft we aren't going to post a competitive total.

As long as there’s wickets in hand towards the end, I think we’ll be alright. These 2 doing good at the moment
