That’s the problem with having “umpires call” I think. If you successfully pressurise the umpire into giving a marginal one, it stands as out. If he gives it not out that stands too. Massive incentive to put him under pressure. I’m inclined to agree with Bumble. Less than half a ball hitting is still hitting and hitting is out. End of story.

Obviously, if you simply disbelieve the technology, that’s a different debate.
