People make good points that at times this team can be too attacking ( although I will always believe rather be too attacking than too defensive)

But what confuses me and it did in The Ashes.

Is the times this team explodes a little and loses quick wickers, there seems to be a lot more posts having a go at players for the shots they have played.

Than praise for the players when it’s goes brilliantly.

Maybe it’s just me but still think certain fans don’t like this way of playing which genuinely mystifies me.

That got well and truly crossed at Lords in the Ashes and they’ve never looked back
 
Been an embarrassing days play. Knew this would happen, they can't manage a game when it calls for taking it steady and building a lead

Game awareness, they did this when Lyon went down and today is just criminal not to keep them out in the field bowling, not even going to have spent 3 hours in the field today

It’ll never happen, dropping a large chunk of them for the way they’ve batted this morning will be an admission that they don’t agree with the way they’ve gone about things this morning, which will of course never happen.

We had them on the deck with our foot approaching their throats yesterday, and we’ve let them get back up and deck us today. Really poor morning

There are times and places mate. We need to be situationally aware. They are missing their main bowler, have an injured seamer and jadeja is only half fit too. Just bat long and they’ll tire and fall apart themselves. We should have been capable of getting a decent lead here and batting them out of the game, instead we’ve just lost the test match in about 45 minutes. You can’t just sit back and accept this shite

Well yeah been bad this morning a game awareness bad.

Just making the point when game awareness bad and mistakes done, some posters all over it like a rash.

Where when it great which it has been most of the time the praise does not match the criticism

This batting isn’t good enough. Would drop Jonny and Root as a minimum, provided we have the options available in India by the time the next test comes around. You can’t believe that stokes thinks this is acceptable today

This. Our best two players before were Stokes and Root, they didn’t need to change a thing about their game to fit into this new era.
