We can’t keep relying on the batsmen getting us out of the mess the bowlers have got us in.
Bowling selections have been very poor this series. This should be the last series that the Curran brothers play .

Should switch off, but guess it's the Sunderland fan in me hoping desperately for a miracle.

That was a terrible shot even though it was missing.

Why do you support England cricket but not football
English football has always had a huge Nationalist problem. There is a deep, long standing racist undercurrent within the support of the England football team, that simply isn't there with the cricket side.

I know, for example, if I was sitting next to someone being racist or xenophobic at cricket, there would be people falling over themselves to shut the twat up - whereas, having been to a few England football internationals, I feel that people would be more inclined to join in than to put a stop to it.

With that in mind, I can't possibly feel comfortable following the England football team.

This and I don’t feel any affinity with the England footballers at all. Sure they’re mostly decent lads but I’ve played and spent far more time around the game of cricket than I have organised football. Cricket feels like more of a brotherhood, a sense of belonging

I'm sure there are crystal palace fans that are racist
