Prior to this game he's bowled 2990 balls in 82 innings.

That means he's bowled 6 overs an innings on average.

Not all are completed innings hence his average of overs might be in higher in 50 over innings.

Which considering we went in with 6 bowlers during our rise to number 1 it's about right.

He's not a new ball or death bowler so why would he complete his 10 more so than others better suited.

In the middle of innings we also went in with the trio of plunkett Rashid and moeen more often than not.

Yea but when’s he bowling? He’s basically thrown in as a last resort. Needs to be used much better than we do
