1st test against the Aussies he didn’t play. His white ball record before this series wasn’t amazing either. Averages around 20 in T20 and 30ish in this format. Not bad but sky seem to spend an awful lot of time talking about him

Probably because he's an exciting young prospect who's battered us throughout this tour?

Surely it's not that hard to see why they may be excited about him.

Of course, he’s great fun to watch and can’t argue with his test record. My point was more towards white ball cricket where his record isn’t that amazing yet. He’s gonna make a 100 now I’ve said this mind
