Are talksport commentating from studios in England or are they in India ? Surely all channel 4 will is have a presenter and two pundits in a studio and use the host broadcast commentators

I am a big Sky fan, for cricket, so I am not as excited by most like, but I totally understand the reasons why this is good for people
Honestly if I was the likes of Jos Buttler now, why the fuck what you wanna fly home, this is a landmark series,aired to the nation

Yet you are going home for 2 weeks in freezing cold lockdown, just to come back to quarantine for another 6 days, then to play in a meaningless ODI series that nobody will remember in 6 months time, never mind 6 years time

I just dont get it

I hear what you are saying but i think its more of a mental health issue, then a cricket issue.

Not really, considering he's playing 2 full IPLs in 6 months, yet missing test cricket in a marque series.

Thats his decision, good luck to him, but you cant play that card, then go back in abubble for the IPL because its a bigger paycheck

it is what it is, just no point dressing it up the other way

Not sure its his decision tbh, same with Bairstow.

It it is really like, if they werent playing the IPL they'd be playing this series

As I say, Id have less problems with if it they were just a bit more honest.

prioritising wrong cricket anyway

Jonyn Bairstow is unlikely to be in the test team in England

he is a good player in these conditions, we are resting him for games he wont even play in
 
Very good news for cricket in the U.K.

The Buttler/Bairstow/IPL argument is indeed baffling. I get why bubbles are hard, but we should be prioritising the big games. It’s a fact of life that franchise cricket has taken over however. It’s sad.
