We’re such a poor team than them we did the double 😂
 
It’s a really strange phenomenon that has become more and more evident since the Saudi takeover.

It probably stems from the euphoria that enveloped their fanbase at that point. Now that they are the ‘richest club in the world’ there’s no way little Sunderland could ever hope to compete with them ever again. Players and fans have all bought into this self entitled, arrogant attitude and it hurts them very, very hard when cold reality hits them, not once but twice this season.

Pin his comments up in the dressing room, 6 points should have been enough to make the dopey **** realise there actually isn’t that much between us this season.

Finishing above them would absolutely kill them off and ruin their summer (even more than their star striker downing tools last year)

Have to admit when henderson and pickford were a part of the team it was the closest I've ever followed the national team. Made it so much easier to support them because there was an actual connection to the city, not just the sunderland team. Now I couldnt tell you who they've played let alone the results they've had.
 
I hope all, mags, team and clerb reflect where they could have finished at the end of the season, IF they'd had another 6 points.
I'm loving this warm glow from this league double over them, especially as us and them have to wait 3 weeks for the next game.

I can't see too much tolerance, among their fans and top management for them not qualifying for Europe and getting stuffed by their neighbours from down the road.
 
Gordon's comments have really pissed me off like, I'm not looking forward to seeing him at the World Cup as I can't support him. Even Mags are embarrassed by what he said.
