Leg spin is a very hard art to master, how many leggies are there in world cricket

Unbelievable comment when trying to justify the performace !

Leg spin might be hard to master for someone walking in off the street, but this bloke is meant to be an international leg spinner, so it shouldn't be hard .....it's what he does.

Next you'll be saying Ian Salisbury would have been as good as Shane Warne if only the selectors had persisted with him.

Warne has been 0-147 in game before, chill out. Leggies dont have yorkers or bouncers to bowl when there getting smashed.

Warne used to bowl them.

You'd hope a 33 yr old had made a pretty good way towards mastering his skill if he was ever going to.

Any slow bowler should have more variations than a fast bowler, because he can't resort to brute force.

It's all down to temprement and talent and Tahir doesn't have half of what Warne possessed.

I think he would benefit from bowling in tandem with Saj tbh ;)

Poor figures those mind it has to be said, must be a doubt for the next test.

sometimes things don't work out for a particular bowler, especially a spinner, and their captain won't use them. unfortunately for SA kallis got injured right at teh start of the game, otherwise tahir probably wouldn't have bowled more than 10 overs here poor bassa:lol::lol:

Hes a good bowler and as a leggie he will have his days. Adelaide is difficult for bowlers in the early parts of test matches but I dont think he is any more than useful at test level. Should be a good oppoprtunity for him at Sydney if they are playing there.
