I can understand how people are concerned that a possible European venture could derail our momentum. Being ahead of schedule means we may not have the resources to juggle the fixture congestion which could prove to cause more harm than good in the long run. Plenty of examples from this season alone can illustrate that. That said, surely no Sunderland fan wants us to lose on Sunday either. We will just have to face whatever we get.

If we do get into the Europa League or Conference League then confident that the recruitment team will get it spot on again, Europa would be amazing for our first season back in the premier league, conference would be great too, even if we did miss out on either then what a great 1st season it has been for us.
