seriously its miles better and a relief....transfer gossips boring but so what.....I honestly couldn't face our first game being Liverpool away. Consider if we were in top flight, we would lose to the top 7 home and away, the 2 promoted team home and away, beat the mags - get beat off west brom as per, get beat of Southampton away - fuck it at least we will have a few better games while we rebuild....don't hammer Grayson if loses first few.

I am quite happy staying in the "pre-season" mindset. phase. We can lose 3-0 and still convince ourselves that friendlies are meaningless and not indicative of how we are going to perform in an actual competitive match.
